Stalin and the Gulag
In the community appartments, confiscated from the bourgeois, where there's a family per room, everyone is afraid of each other. People are arrested for any reason. In the whole Soviet Union, prison wagons have never carried away so many deportees to the Gulag. Hundreds of Gulag camps, named corrective labour camps, become a huge reservoir of gratis labour force for Stalin's monumental projects.
